Eye-mazing Facts

Inspired by Amanda's post on the resolution of the eye, I have come across some fascinating facts about the eye.

Besides the brain, the eye is the most complex organ you possess. It is composed of more than two million working parts and can process 36,000 bits of information every hour. That's a lot of bytes... How many?? The eye contribute towards 85% of your total knowledge and can instantaneously set in motion hundreds of muscles and organs in your body. In a normal life-span, you will bring almost 24 million images of the world around you.

It is believed that an average person blinks about 12 times a minute, that's an amazing 10,080 blinks a day. So the next time you hear someone say "it happened in the blink of an eye" you know what that means. So your eyes are your most precious sense... care for them properly!

The Enchanted Forest - Part 1

You wake up in the middle of an enchanted forest full of treasure and traps. You need to find a way out of the forest before the sun goes down.

It is getting darker and darker by the footstep and you see two sets of foot prints (small and big). The small set of prints leads to a dark and bushy part of the forest, and the huge prints lead to a clearing in the forest

Do you follow the big foot prints?
